TheFreeSVG.com was created by me, Echo S.
Passionate about vector design for over 15 years, dedicating my time to everything from digital calligraphy to detailed scalable portraits, I wanted to share my creations with others who will help me put them to good use.
Inspired by my cut designs site, SilhouetteCameoFreebies.com, TheFreeSVG makes my work available to a wider, more varied audience of creatives and hobbyists.
For commercial use designs, you can visit my online store, EchoiaDesign on Etsy, or e-mail me for info on licensing files that are not available in my store at this time.
You are welcome to put our free files to use in all of your non-professional work. You may not, however, redistribute any files found at or copied from TheFreeSVG.com.
You can find more about me and my work on my blog, EchoStenger.com or in my portfolio at Echoia.com.
SVG files are Scalable Vector Graphics. Because they are essentially created with math equations you can make them bigger or smaller, or make them small and then make them bigger, and you never lose the crisp lines and high quality of the design you’ve created.
This makes the graphics highly versatile and great for use in print and web design. Their flexible nature allows them to be scaled to fit any size screen or project.
I create using Adobe Illustrator on my Surface Pro* with my Surface Pen*, bringing ideas to life with my Silhouette Cameo*.
If you are a Silhouette Cameo or Portrait user, you’re in luck! I have a site dedicated to Silhouette Studio cuttable designs at SilhouetteCameoFreebies.com.
If you are using the free software and cannot open SVG files, Silhouette Cameo Freebies is the site for you! All files at SilhouetteCameoFreebies.com are made for Silhouette Studio.
However, if you see something here that you would like to use and don’t want to upgrade your software, I have a video tutorial to help you use SVG files in your cutting software without spending the extra money.
